One Week In…
March 4th, 2010 by jonnyWe are SO grateful for all the prayers and encouragement we received from friends and family before we left England. Thank you, Thank you!!
Our last few days there were a huge challenge and we definitely did not expect to have to reschedule flights at the last minute. BUT, God did give us a clear breakthrough in Gracie’s health and He totally covered our journey back to Moz. Everything has gone very smoothly since we left England. Phew!!
Last night, Becky and I spoke at our missionary homegroup. We gave a “potted history” of our last eight months and told about the highs and lows of all we experienced. Our time in Bath (or more precisely in Twerton) has been a very memorable one. It was definitely right to be there for that time, but we also knew we couldn’t settle down. Hence, we are very relieved to be back in Mozambique.
So far we’ve spent alot of time sorting out our house and making a bedroom for Honor. Plus we’ve been connecting with our boys again, catching up with friends and starting to get stuck in with the community around us.
We’re hoping to post some photos on our Gallery very soon. Unfortunately the internet speed here is just so bad that it will have to wait until we get to an internet cafe in Maputo… watch this space!

I love the way you have immediately made a room for Honor…don’t you think that is just how our Father in Heaven welcomes each one who gives their life to Him? He makes a home in His heart for each of us and that is where we are meant to live from? Enjoy the fathering and mothering! We love you! xxx
Or internet at friends’ house in Matola…. We love you guys and are really looking forward to some time with you – SOON!!!
